Winter weather is in full force this week ?, so here are some considerations for the cold for your furry friends:
? Keep your dogs’ coat and paws dry after time outside (towel or blow dry). A little petroleum jelly may be helpful to keep paw pads from cracking.
?Watch for salts or antifreeze on driveways and sidewalks. These are lethal to pups!
⏰ Limit time outside. Wind chills lower actual temperatures and frostbite can set in quickly.
? Just like humans, dogs are susceptible to colds and viruses over the winter. Watch for symptoms and take your dog to the vet if needed.
